Hi, I'm Katie

Hi, I'm Katie. For those of you who don't know, I started this blog for a school project in my digital photography class, and since I went through the process of actually starting a blog I have decided to keep it going. I figured for the first actual non school related post I should tell you a bit about me. First of all I am a horrible speller, so there is bound to be many spelling mistakes along the way, and I do have to say my grammar and punctuation isn't all that great either. So if you find a mistake please comment about it, I would like to know the correct way of spelling and punctuating things. =) Secondly, something you should know is that I tend to be rather random, so it is entirely possible that none of my posts will have a single subject, but then again you may never know and I could randomly post a singular subject post. Thirdly, I'm home schooled, love Phantom of the Opera and Star Wars, and I have a problem with pronouncing words correctly, which you will find out more about in future posts....While looking at the top of the new blog post toolbar I just discovered that they have a spell check so hopefully there won't be as many misspelled words as previously thought. =) Well, I think that that is it for my first non school related post, I hope you enjoyed it =)...I may also overly use smiley faces =)

My Renaldo

This is my pug, I love him dearly. His full name is Renaldo de la Cara Aplastada, which means "Renaldo of the Smushed Faces" and no I did not give him that name, although it is the best dog name I have ever heard.

My Friend

This is the friend that I keep refering to, the one that saved the bird, made that hat, and has hands. Her name is Andrea, she has been my nanny since I was born and I love her, she is basically the most AWESOME person in the world. She was making her sad little girl face which I also adore =)

The Crocheter's Hands

This is an outline of my friend's hands that I made; I added the yarn because it needed a pop of color.

Cartoon Hat

This is a hat that my friend made which I then turned into a cartoon drawing. The original hat was purple and cream, but I thought the green was fun. Oh and by the way, this took me two and a half HOURS!

Hummingbird

My friend rescued him from a cat and nursed him back to health. We got to pet him, it was awesome.

Unhappy Bull Mastiff

This is my sister's dog Anna, we took her to the beach and she did not like it. This picture is right before she is about to shake all of the water off of herself.

Lily Pads

I may have over edited this one but I love that the larger lily pad looks like it's on fire.

Lily Flower

It was so small and so beautiful that it needed to be photographed before it went away.

PENGUINS!!!!!

Yes, these are technically Christmas decorations, but they are so cute that some of the smaller ones stay up all year, and the one in the middle is on my bed at all times.
